The Papers date from 1914-1964, and are contained in thirteen document boxes (twelve 5" boxes; one 2.5" box), one archives storage box (10.5"×12.5"×15.5"), and three reels of microfilm. Materials include correspondence to and from Neumann, unpublished manuscripts, photographs of works of art, and publications issued by Neumann. Material on R. Bresdin, Beckmann, Kandinsky, Klee, Rouault, and Munch is particularly well represented in the Papers.
